When one compares the PS3 exclusives to the overwhelming majority of multiplats the "held back" argument certainly seems plausible.Besides the technical prowess of the devs varying and the desire for equality,what other sensible reasons exist?
Holding back?......perhaps but keeping in check seems more likely considering the evidence.

The um.....International gaming community recently approved the use of various herbal remedies to help with various gaming conundrums or some such deals.

Assassin's creed,Prince of Persia,Prototype(after Infamous Prototype was a welfare Infamous),Haze,Cod WaW(futile attempt at recovering MOH-style greatness)=now long gone.Oblivion(perhaps my personal worst),Far Cry2(so damn cool.....for the first 6hrs),GT4 somewhat,but never having been a huge GTA fan my personal disappointment was perhaps lessened yet still prevalent(utterly mundane world with mundane events=boredom+trade-in)

2 360's,one with disc tray problems,one with disc read errors.I am not going to bother with the 3rd.......warranty and will aside.
1 Wii(bought for my niece) but gets a TON of use in that household.It refused to read discs once so we "shook" it and it has worked since(1 year+)
One launch PS3 60gig,thousands of hours and 16+ sudden power outages(I live in the Canadian Rockies) power outages abound.

Comparing sales is easy,judging quality and the lack thereof.....not so much.I have been enjoying Sacred2 as of late,I heard it's sales were less than stellar.....

When this game outsells it's counterpart 3/1 maybe squenix will wise up,maybe not.
It tells me two things; ND have pushed the PS3 to 'their' theoretical limits,an ever-changing standard that is the current benchmark.

Cobain should not have been in this 'game',my opinion.I can think of better suited 'guitar heroes' with ends not so tragic and less questionable.Cobains music was the antithesis of the very thing this nonsense is aspiring to.It isn't about 'rights' rather respect,which all too often is pushed posthumously in an attempt to "rediscover" the greatness........of which many are well aware,without shelling out another 100$.Sad but ultimately true.
